Renowned for exploring history’s forgotten women, Hallie’s latest investigation ‘Story of a Murder’ foregrounds the extraordinary women who, until now, have been pushed to the fringes of the infamous true-crime story featuring Dr Crippen. In Hallie’s own words, ‘no murderer should ever be the keeper of their victim's story…’

Hallie Rubenhold is the #1 Sunday Times bestselling and Baillie Gifford prize-winning author of The Five, the Untold Lives of the Women Killed by Jack the Ripper. A renowned social historian whose expertise lies in revealing stories of previously unknown women and episodes in history, she is the author of The Covent Garden Ladies which was the inspiration behind BBC TV's 'Harlots'. Her biographical work, Lady Worsley's Whim, was dramatized by the BBC as 'The Scandalous Lady W'. Timings: doors open at 16:30 and entry before then will be refused. The event begins at 17:00 and lasts approximately 90 minutes, including a Q&A with the audience. This will be followed by a book signing.
