This fun and informal first session will cover, through discussion and writing exercises:

  • How you find good ideas and refine them into a pitch
  • How you can start to turn your idea into a book
  • Research methods
  • Deciding on narrative voice, and
  • Creating the world of your story

No experience is necessary; this session is perfect for those who have always wanted to embark on their own crime writing journey but need the tools and confidence to begin.
